Federation style serviced accommodation at its finest

Batlow House was built in 1922 by a local businessman and his wife, the house is solid brick Federation/Californian bungalow.
Unlike many period houses this house was intact when we found it and many of the wonderful classical features including ornate high ceilings, art deco light fittings, Frett work, polished timbers etc remain today. We have made a few embellishments with modern conveniences to enhance your visit.
Batlow House sits on 1 acre of land 300 metres from the town's CBD. The house backs onto a park with a bubbling brook that you can hear from the back patio.
Batlow is located in the Snowy Mountains. The House is 300 metres from the Snowy Valley Way - a destination intself for driving, motorbike and bicycle enthusiasts; and is at the doorstep of the NSW Ski Fields, the Kusciusko National Park, the Yarrangobilly Caves, the Snowy Hydro Scheme, trout fishing and highland apple orchards. The ski fields of Mt Selwyn are with 120kms drive and numerous trout fishing spots including the Blowering Dam can be found within an hours easy drive.
